Chasity, a life-long resident of Farmville, began singing gospel music at an early age. Saved at age 8, she felt God's calling to sing and serve. By age 12, she recorded her first album in Boone, NC with Tim Greene. Her first group experience was singing with her father and Movin Up Quartet in her preteen years and she later became Movin Up's first female addition. She wrote and recorded her first song, "Touch Me Lord", with Movin Up at age 18. The album, Stand, recorded with the ladies trio, KCR, consists of 10 original songs written by Fisher. Today, Fisher ministers in song at local churches and community events as a solist and also as a group vocalist. She just completed a new solo project set to be released at the Tim Sutton Trio Live Recording August 6, 2011. Fisher and her husband, Sonny Jay, have two children, Kyler Heath, 7 and Sonni Leigh, 3. They are members of Kings Cross Roads Original Free Will Baptist Church of Farmville, where she serves as the adult and youth choir director, a preschool Sunday school teacher, and a high school Awana leader. She is also the owner and operator of Chasity's Pet Salon in Farmville.
